ef(al-sinhaji in Chapter II, this Shaykh was described by Shaykh Muhyiddin as: the gnostic, the wanderer, the recluse, the veracious, the righteous, a man versed in the spiritual mysteries, it is very seldom one encounters such as he.

The Greatest Shaykh then adds: He and I were concerned together with too many spiritual matters to mention here. It was for him that I composed The Fabulous Griffon concerning knowledge of the Seal of Saints and the Sun of the West (see next section).
