Despite the remarkable spiritual growth that Shaykh Muhyiddin enjoyed in Fez, he left it to return to Andalusia again, perhaps because of his family commitments caused by the death of his father and then his mother, as we have seen in section

ef(hisparentsdeath, thus his two sisters remained orphaned and someone had to take care of them.

Less than a year after his stay in Fez, we find Shaykh Muhyiddin in Seville again, especially after the victory of Muslims in the battle of Ark, which established more security and stability in Seville. However, he did not return to Seville to settle there, but we will find him quickly returning to Fez to spend more than two years this time, continuously, as we shall see in section

ef(fez2 below.
