6.4.13 - The Years 625/1228 and 626/1229

We now have no information about the year 625 AH, other than what Othman Yahya said in his classification that the copyist who copied the book “The Reward of the Helping” [OY: ???] ascribed to Ibn al-Arabi that he said that he quoted it from an original dated in 625 AH and that it was classified in “Rabat al-Niswan” (the ??? of Women). Since this book, which was not mentioned by Shaykh Muhyiddin among his works, was not realized in the Index or in the Leave, we do not know if this book was actually for Shaykh Muhyiddin at all, and if so, what is meant by “Rabat al-Niswan” and where is it? It seems that Shaykh Muhyiddin was absent this year, and we do not know where.

It also seems that his absence continued until the end of 626 AH, where some manuscripts of “al-Abadilah” remind us that he had read this book to some of his disciples in the month of Dhul-Qidah, without mentioning the place either.
