6.3.3 - Reading the Tajalliyat (Damascus, 14 Muharram 620/1223)

In the previous chapter we talked about the Book of Manifestations and that Shaykh Muhyiddin wrote it in or before 606 AH, and we also mentioned the story of Ibn Sawdakin’s explanation of this book. In Damascus, Shaykh Muhyiddin continued to read his books on the students, and one of the readings that reached us on (???) one of the manuscripts of the Manifestations was read in Damascus in the author’s house in 620 AH on the 14th of Muharram, and it was certified by the author. Amongst the audience were Shaykh Muhyiddin and the reader was Ayyub Ibn Badr Ibn Mansur, and the listeners were Hussein Ibn Ali Ibn Muhammad al-Nunufari, Abu Bakr Ibn Muhammad al-Balkhi and Muhammad Ibn Ismail Ibn Sawdakin.
